At Barry's Dogstore our aim is to provide an overall service to pet owners throughout the Costa del Sol, including advice on nutrition and other aspects of pet ownership, as well as promoting the adoption of dogs and/or cats from our local animal rescue centres and helping them with their fund-raising and other activities.Why Barry?
Barry's Dogstore takes its name from Barry, the legendary Saint Bernard dog who, between 1800 and 1812, saved the lives of 40 people, lost or trapped in the Swiss Alps (Great St. Bernard Pass).Of the many myths surrounding him, undoubtedly the most well-known is the legend that Barry died on a rescue mission, at the hands of a lost soldier who, in the mistaken belief that the animal coming to his rescue was going to attack him, wounded it fatally with his bayonet.
In fact, Barry died peacefully at the monastery in 1814, at 14 years of age. A replica of his remains are in the Natural History Museum of Berne (Switzerland). If you would like to learn more about Barry and his contemporaries, visit Wikipedia

We do not sell live animals!Some of the services we offer include: Free delivery to your home of all main brands of pet foods available in Spain. There is no charge for delivery and our prices are based on the RRP of each manufacturer. This service is available from Benalmadena to Estepona, as well as some inland locations. However, if you live outside this area it may also be possible to arrange a delivery.
The brands we supply include Royal Canin, Hill's, Affinity, Eukanuba, as well as other lesser-known brands.- Food supplements, hygiene and anti-parasite products.
- Pet accessories : If you need a certain item for your pet, we will also deliver it to your home and - in the case of an unusual or difficult to find item - endeavour to find it for you.
- Toys: From the very simple to very sophisticated, including designer educational toys and training aids. Original gift ideas for your pet's "special occasions"!!- Pet cremation: In the unfortunate event that your pet should pass away, we can offer an efficient and caring cremation service.
- Dog psychology/behavour modification.
